Celebrating Future Hospitality Leaders: 

Scholarship Breakfast

Join us for our annual Scholarship Breakfast on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, as we celebrate and honor the achievements of Minnesota students actively pursuing careers in the hospitality industry. This event recognizes the dedication and hard work of students committed to building a future in hospitality, while providing support as they take the next steps in their educational journeys.

Since 2006, the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation has awarded nearly $1 MILLION in scholarships to over 400 MN students pursuing their education in foodservice and hospitality programs.

This year we are thrilled to bring back the Sue Zelickson Scholarships! These scholarships are available for women pursuing higher education hospitality, culinary, foodservice, food science, or other food-related degrees.

In addition to scholarship recipients, we will recognize:

• 2026 ProStart Culinary and Management State Champions
• 2026 ProStart Educator of Excellence
• 2026 Hospitality & Tourism Management Educator of Excellence
• 2026 ProStart Mentor of Excellence
