Happy Friday! With just 5 weeks left in the legislative session, the list of items the legislature needs to address before adjourning is not getting any shorter. The budget, potential adjustments to the State Paid Family Medical Leave and Earned Sick and Safe Time laws, and FTC conformity on Junk Fees are all potential policies HM is advocating on. This week I’m breaking down various omnibus bills, what they mean, and what the next steps are for the next few weeks. 

One quick note – there will not be a Government Relations Update next week. The Legislature is on break observing Passover and Easter and I will be taking a couple of days off to spend time with family. Have a great holiday and I’ll see you back here in two weeks!
