Among the three individuals being honored this year with induction into the Hospitality Minnesota Hall of Fame is Jason Subbert, General Manager of the Best Western and Hampton Inn in Fairmont, whose dedication to guest experience and community service sets him apart. 

A Career Rooted in Compassion and Community

Jason Subbert is being recognized for a remarkable 40-year career dedicated to the hospitality industry. For the last 15 years, he has served as General Manager of both the Best Western and Hampton Inn in Fairmont, where his leadership has created a lasting positive impact on both properties and the local community.

Subbert embodies the belief that hospitality is fundamentally "all about how you make someone feel." His genuine care for people—including his guests, his staff, and the Fairmont community—drives his professional excellence.

He has spearheaded major renovations at both properties, significantly improving the guest experience. Crucially, these upgrades incorporated elements that highlight the local area, such as local art and Fairmont-themed decor, demonstrating his dedication to connecting his businesses with their community.

His commitment is focused on consistently providing guests with a clean, comfortable place to stay, complete with great food and beverage, ensuring they feel compelled to return.
